Dear valued supporters and friends,
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of our Safari animal rescue operations in the United States. As college students, we have been passionate about wildlife conservation and dedicated ourselves to supporting this important cause. We are proud of the work we have accomplished over the years in rehabilitating injured animals and raising awareness of the threats facing African wildlife.
However, due to rising operations costs and legal matters, we have made the difficult decision to cease our rescue operations in the US. We lack the necessary funds and staff to continue running our programs sustainably. Our main office in Scottsdale will remain open with limited staff, we regret any inconvenience this closure may cause.
We want to assure you that we remain forever committed to supporting wildlife conservation efforts globally. Your generosity and support over the years have helped us achieve significant milestones and positively impact countless animal lives. While we are closing our doors in the US for now, our operations in France, China, Germany, Spain, and African Regions will continue. We are determined to find new ways to support wildlife conservation and make a difference for animals in need.
We extend our deepest thanks to all the volunteers, interns, staff members, and collaborators who contributed their time and passion to our mission in the US. You have created memories with us that we will always cherish. We hope to continue working with you in the future when the opportunity arises.
Though this is a difficult transition, we are grateful for the opportunity we've had to pursue our passion and serve the animal rescue cause. Your dedication inspires us, and we look forward to finding new ways to support wildlife conservation together in the future.
Sincerely,
The Oyno Foundation Leadership Team
